ということまで気にしてしまうのがゴルファーです。
 
インパクトの0.0何秒の瞬間で
ショットの良しあしが決まってしまいますので、
 
どういうテイクバック・フォロースルーをすれば
その瞬間がうまくいきやすいのか、
 
更にそのためにはどういうグリップを、
顔・頭の位置はどうすればいいのか、
 
呼吸は吐くのか止めるのか、
重心の位置はどこに？
 
とさまざまなことを考えます。
 
そういうことを端的に表しているのが
パッティングフォームでもあります。
プロといえどさまざま、アマチュアはましてやです。
 
このように、いろいろな要素があり、
いろいろなことを考えたり、試したりするから
ゴルフは楽しいとも言えますし、
難しいとも言えるんですが。
 
そして、上手な人ほど考えたり試してきた履歴が半端なく、
それでもこれでと自信が持てないから、
自分から進んで教えるようなことはしないという気がします。
 
進んで教えに来る人にはむしろ要注意です。
「え～っ！」ということを
自信たっぷりに教えていることもないことではありません。
 
でも、他人に教えるのが大好きというヘッポコ
ゴルファーがどこの練習場にもいるんですよねえ。

That’s right, today is the day when gravity is “doubled”!

Why are we last and second from the back?
Maybe we were overthinking it.
 
Golfers tend to take things seriously, even things that an outsider might ask, “Is that really true?”
 
The quality of the shot is decided in the split second of impact, so what kind of take-back and follow-through will make that moment more likely to go well?
 
In order to achieve this, I have to think about various things, such as: how should I hold the grip?
How should I position my face and head?
Should I exhale or hold my breath?
Where should my center of gravity be?
 
Putting form is a clear example of this.
Even among professionals, there is a lot of variety, let alone among amateurs.
 
As you can see, golf can be both fun and difficult because there are so many different elements to consider and try out.
 
And the more skilled a person is, the more they have a history of thinking and trying things, but they still don’t have confidence in what they can do, so I feel they don’t take the initiative to teach others.
 
Be careful of people who proactively come to teach you.
Many of them teach with such confidence that you wonder “Is it true?”
 
However, there are some bad golfers at every driving range who love to teach others.
