タイトルとは裏腹にまだ丸山選手の話ですが。
TV「しくじり先生」出演時には
写真のような失言をされたことも明かされていました。
 
野次られて
すぐにこういう言葉を返せるというのは
頭の回転の良さを示しているとも言えますが。
 
僕も若き丸山選手が中日クラウンズで成績が悪く、
不貞腐れたようなラウンドをするのを間近で見て
印象を悪くしたことがあります。
 
でも、凄い人って
実はそういうタイプの人が多いですよね。
 
ドクターXもそうですし（？）、
青色LEDの発明者も訴訟になるぐらい
会社と揉めた人です。
 
プライベートでは好き勝手言っていても
公の場所では「御意」「御意」
と言っている人たちでは、決してありません。
周りからはよく叩かれがちな人たちです。
 

 
さて、本題。
 
丸山選手がゴルフ業界の広告塔なら
ゴルフ業界のWikipediaと言えるのが
こちらの戸張捷さんだと思います。
 
ゴルフ中継のアナウンサーが話す間に
何とか自分のネタをねじ込もうとする
氏の解説は大変面白いです。
 
話の切り口も独特です。
 
マラソンの増田明美さんの
選手個人ネタ解説に近いものがあり、
大きな大会のゴルフ中継では
たいてい解説者を務められています。
 
が、プロでもなく、
アマで有名だったというわけでもなく、
いわば謎の人ですが、
ゴルフ業界にはなくてはならない人となっています。
