子羊A

Lambs at the Golf Driving Range
Lamb A
A follower of the “behind the ball” doctrine.
He tried to keep his head in an incredible position, but his neck joints were not flexible, and his form was awful.
As he completes his follow-through, he lifts his head to follow the ball, but no matter how hard he searches in the direction of the target, he rarely finds it.
Lamb B
He wants to put his weight on his left foot when following through, but he always hits with his weight on his right foot, and even after he hits the ball, he keeps his weight on his right foot.
After hitting the ball, he shifts his weight to his left foot and twists his body two or three times with the club on his shoulder.
In this way, he always shows those around him, “I hit the ball with my weight on my left foot!”
Lamb C
A person who thinks that “I have to turn my shoulders to hit the ball” and hits the ball while turning his shoulders.
Before impact, not only his shoulders but also his hips and body rotate at the same time, which means he is unable to twist his body and the ball does not fly far enough.
Although he can’t hit the ball far enough, he proudly tells those around him, “My shoulders are moving well, aren’t they?”
Why did this happen?
Good form is simply a result, but I feel that there are people who only teach the results and not the reasons for it, and that there are people who try to follow those teachings.
I’m sure there are some of you who have thought, “Wow, you seem a bit arrogant.”
No, I am one of the poor little lambs C who has since grown into an old sheep, so please forgive me.
There are also teachings like,
“Don’t use your hands. Use your body,”
and, “You have to grip it tightly.”
I, an old sheep who has been confused by the teachings, can only pray that these teachings will not send these helpless lambs into golf hell.
Is that teaching true?
It’s tough to learn it and then find out it was wrong after all.
