愛知カンツリー様へラウンドで行ってきました。
 
例によってラウンド前はどんどん盛り上がって
くるのですが、今回は1週間前からかなりハイ
テンションに。
 
前回のラウンドがこちらのブログに書きました
ように10/9でしたので、約3週間ぶりです。
 
これでも最近では間隔が短かった方で、ゴルフが
好きでゴルフ場に転職したのに、なんでラウンド数が
激減してしまったのかと矛盾は感じています。
 
愛知カンツリー様は２度目ですが、
ナビがある現在でも、
 
「こんな街中にゴルフ場があるのか？」
と思ってしまうほど市街地のど真ん中にあります。
 
今日、一番驚いたのは、
カート内も禁煙であること。
それもアイコスも含めて不可と。
 
ラウンド中は、ティーグラウンドでしか吸えません。
 
でも、これは正直よいことだと思います。
 
喫煙者の方を排除することは行き過ぎだと思う
のですが、非喫煙者の方がすぐ横にいるケースでは
何らかの措置を考慮すべきだろうと。
 
ちなみにサンベルは驚くべきというか恐ろしい
というか、今の時代に？というべきか、
レストラン内、ラウンジ内でも喫煙が可能です。
（レストランの奥側等、スペースで指定）
 
これは決して非喫煙者の方を無視しているという
わけではなく、館内が非常に広く、天井の高さも
かなりありますので、
 
それで何とか大きな問題にならずに済んでいる
ということからです。
 
将来もこのままでよいのかという課題はあり
ますが、正直、喫煙者の方の気持ちもわかるし、
非喫煙者の方も気持ちもわかるしで、
 
「フックかスライスか、
　お前、まだ迷ってんのかよ。」
 
「そんなんフックだぞ。」
 
「アホ言え、スライスに決まってんじゃん。」
 
と双方から言われている状態とも言えます。

Aichi Country: No smoking in the cart
I went to Aichi Country for a round of golf.
 
As usual, the excitement builds before the round, but this time I was in high spirits for a week before.
 
As I wrote about in this blog, my last round was on October 9th, so it’s been about three weeks.
 
Three weeks is a relatively short interval these days.
 
I love golf and changed jobs to work at a golf course, so I feel a bit contradictory as to why the number of rounds I play has dropped so drastically.
 
This is my second time visiting Aichi Country, and even now that we have car navigation systems,
it’s so located in the middle of a big city that you might wonder, “Is there really a golf course in the middle of a city like this?”
 
The thing that surprised me the most that day was that smoking was prohibited inside the carts, including e-cigarettes.
 
During a round, you can only smoke in the teeing area.
But I think this is a good thing, to be honest.
 
I think it would be excessive to exclude smokers, but I think some kind of measure should be considered in cases where a non-smoker is nearby.
 
By the way, it is surprising or perhaps frightening that in this day and age, Sunbell allows smoking in the restaurant and lounge.

This is by no means an attempt to ignore non-smokers, but rather because the building is very spacious and the ceilings are quite high,
which has somehow managed to keep it from becoming a big problem.
 
There is the question of whether this should continue in the future, but honestly, I understand the feelings of smokers and non-smokers,
 
“Hook or slice? You still can’t decide?”
 
“That’s a hook.”
 
“Don’t be stupid, it’s a slice of course.”
 
So, I’m in a difficult situation because both sides are telling me different things.
 

 
Future generations may not believe that there was a time when people smoked.
