このホールですね、
8/26のブログで「鬼が笑うOUT6番」と紹介したのは。
別名、エヴァの潜むホールでもあります。

ピンを直接狙う方向には、「鬼」にも「エヴァ」にも見える
バンカー群の塊りが見えます。
 

 
ビデオでのバンカーショットを見て頂ければ、
そのえげつなさをよくご理解いただけると思います。
 
バンカーを幾重にも重ねて配置するという
ジャック・ニクラスのバンカー設計の典型
という感じのホールです。
 
そのおかげか、
まっすぐ狙った人は大変な目に遭い、
始めから右に逃げた人、
或いは、右にミスショットを打った人は
かえって大けがをせずにすみがちなホールでもあります。

Spring hasn’t come just yet, even though we’ve only just passed one hole.
It’s still cold winter.
 
This is the hole I introduced in my blog on August 26th as “鬼が笑うOUT6番 The devil is laughing OUT 6th par 3”.
It is also known as the Hall Where Evangelion Lurks.

Straight in the direction of the pin you can see a cluster of bunkers that resemble both a demon and an Evangelion.

If you watch the video of the bunker shot, you will understand how difficult it is.
 
This hole is a typical example of Jack Nicklaus’ bunker design, with multiple bunkers stacked in a row.
 
Because of this, it is a hole where people who aim straight tend to get into trouble,
while people who hit to the right from the start or make a misshot to the right tend to avoid serious injury.
